About GetReady Travel
GetReady Travel helps you find lesser-known places and get ready to go: hidden gems, local experiences, practical guides and free travel tools. We start with Bangladesh, India and the United States.
What we do
- Place and route guides with hidden gems and quick stops beyond the usual tourist sights, each with the sources we used.
- Practical guides on documents, visas, airports, money, health and what to do when plans go wrong, linked to official sources such as travel.state.gov, the TSA and the CDC.
- Free tools, such as maps, planners and converters, that run in your browser. Nothing you enter is stored or sent to us.
What we don't do
- We don't sell trips, tickets or rooms, and there are no adverts or affiliate links on the site at the moment. If we ever add affiliate links, we'll label them clearly and say so here first.
- We don't give legal, immigration or medical advice. Our guides are general information; rules and fees change, so check official sources before you travel.
- We don't invent places, reviews or details. If we can't find a reliable source or position for a place, we leave it out.
How places and guides are checked
We name real places, link official or reliable sources, and show when each page was last checked. We check US State Department and UK government travel advice before adding places, and leave out areas they warn against. Prices, opening hours and schedules change, so we re-check them each season.

GetReady Travel is an independent website and part of GetReady, a small family of sites that help people prepare for what's next, with GetReady Health, GetReady Academy and GetReady Money. More about the family: getready.group.
