In short: our tools keep what you type in your browser, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we only collect anonymous visit counts.

Our tools

The tools on this site, such as the trip budget, cost splitter, packing list and maps, run entirely in your web browser. What you enter isn't sent to us or saved by us. Some tools put your choices in the page address (after the # sign) so you can share a link; that information stays in the link and only goes where you send it.

Directions and other websites

When you tap “Directions” on a map, Google Maps opens with that place's position. Google's privacy policy applies there. The same goes for any official or other website we link to.

Place suggestions

The “Suggest a place” and “Report a problem” buttons on the city maps are switched off at the moment. If we switch them on, they will save only what you type in the form (not your IP address, browser details or email), and we'll update this page first.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites and doesn't give us your name or contact details. We only see totals, such as page views and the countries and types of device visits come from.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

The site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and has no adverts.

If you email us

If you email [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply to you. Please don't send us passport numbers or other identity documents.

Accounts

The site doesn't offer accounts at the moment. If we add them, we'll update this page first to explain what is stored, where, and how to delete it. Accounts will be for adults 18 and over.

Children

This site is written for adults. It isn't designed to collect information from children.

Changes and contact

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions about privacy: [email protected]. See also our terms of use.
