Visited mapHow many countries of the world have you visited?
Tap each country you've been to on the map, or tick it in the list. See how many of the world's 195 countries you've covered, continent by continent, then share your map or save it as a picture.
Nothing is saved or sent. Your picks live only in this page's link: copy or bookmark it to keep your map, or send it to a friend. The 195 are the 193 UN member states plus Vatican City and Palestine; Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Greenland, Western Sahara and Kosovo count as bonus places. Small countries have a dot so they're easier to tap.
Good to know
- Counting rules are yours: some people count a country once they've stayed a night, others when they've changed planes there. Airports alone usually don't count.
- Before each trip, check the travel advice from the U.S. State Department or the UK FCDO, and the country's official entry rules.
- Handy tools: find your embassy, emergency numbers, time zones and the travel converter.

Map disclaimer: we do not take a side
GetReady takes no position on any boundary or territorial dispute. This world map is simplified and is not an official map. Where the United Nations has a position, borders follow UN maps: Crimea is shown as part of Ukraine and Cyprus as one country, and Kosovo has a dashed edge. Taiwan, Palestine and Western Sahara are shown as their own areas because travellers count them separately; this is not a position on their status. Lines in Kashmir and other disputed areas are approximate. Territories are shown as part of their country, and a few tiny disputed or empty ones (such as the Falkland Islands, Gibraltar and the Chagos Islands) are left off. Continents follow Natural Earth.
